It finally drummed into me about the 80/20 rule or the Pareto principle which is basically that 80% of the outcome is determined by 20% of the input. Or something like that.
Applying that to astrology, focus the bulk of your analysis on the tightest aspects. That's going to do most of the explanation. Even if the aspect is a semisquare or semisextile which, say, make an exact aspect. That doesn't mean that you disregard the other aspects though but spend less time on them. Priorisation is the key especially when time is short!
