The way I see it, there are four types of learnings:
3rd House Learning
Aquisition of facts and information. Information may or may not be processed, analysed or applied. The focus is on mental input. The more the merrier. This is my usual state. To read astrology books without necessarily understanding or applying them.
6th House Learning
The focus is to analyse and discriminate facts and information. To convert them into useful products. To make practical use of the ideas.
9th House Learning
You know the subject well enough to teach it. You have the knowledge. You have a personal philosophy regarding the subject.
12th House Learning
You become one with the subject. Unified. Uno. Lo mismo. The subject is part of your daily life. For example, you celebrate four personal holidays each year - when the Sun crosses each of your cardinal points i.e. ASC-DSC, MC-IC. You use the moon phases to plan your life, for example, starting a new diet programme when the new moon is in Virgo or in your 1st/6th house.
