You are happy spending time with yourself. This me-time nourishes you. Why not use the time to meditate, pray or do something spiritual. Take this time to reflect on things in your life that have outgrown their use and let go of it, for example, a relationship that doesn't work anymore. Letting go of something or someone should be easier for you during this time.
Solidifying Your Finances
If you haven't gotten your financial affairs in order previously, start now! It's never too late to develop good money habits. Do you have a mortgage, car loan, student loan, credit card bills, holiday plans, loans to your friends or family and only so little money? It is time to be realistic about your money situation. Perhaps cut back on your $100 haircut and visit the hairdresser/barber in your neighbourhood instead. Less visits to the restaurant maybe? Or maybe it's time to take on a second job for that extra income. If you really need help to sort through the mess or need some advice, it's time to think of scheduling an appointment with your accountant or financial planner.
Planning ahead: You may be thinking of learning something to
help you in your work in the next 1 to 2 year. Those courses are likely to be
short or informal in nature. Keep a lookout for what interests you.
