Pluto Transits - Why do I Feel Normal During One?

In Pluto Transits - How Do They Feel?, I wrote that during a Pluto transit, you could feel like shit. Or not. Here's why.

I believe that people who feel that their lives are in a big mess and turmoil during a Pluto transit are those who are not accustomed to the Plutonian energy. Naturally, if a person hasn't been in contact with Pluto before, when Pluto first hits her, it would be Whammm! It's like being hit by a truck while crossing a road.

Conversely, there are some people who are used to the Plutonian energy. These people are likely to have at least one of the following in their natal chart:

  • a personal planet (i.e. Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus, Mars) or the chart ruler (i.e. the planet ruling Ascendant) aspecting Pluto
  • a personal planet or chart ruler in the sign Scorpio
  • An angle (ASC, DSC, MC or IC) in the sign Scorpio

So, if your natal chart has one of the above indicators of Plutonian energy, chances are that you are pretty used or at least acquainted with this dark and intense chocolate, I mean energy. I mean, you have been learning or have learnt to deal with it throughout your life! So, when you are "hit" by a Pluto transit, it doesn't affect you as much as compared to those who has no relationship with Pluto or Scorpio in their natal chart. Using the analogy of the truck, it's as if you have been repeatedly hit by trucks when crossing roads throughout your life, survived them and become stronger. So when another truck (a Pluto transit) hits you, you would be "Oh gosh, this hurts. But this is not new to me. I have been there and done that before. I will survive and resurrect again."

So, check your natal check to see if how prevalent is the Plutonian energy in your life. It's very likely to determine your response and how you feel during a Pluto transit.
